Trials is an endgame activity like raids.
Obviously new players cant instantly start it.

I wouldn't exactly call Trials just an endgame activity. It's more like a pinnacle activity similar to Iron Banner. Endgame usually refers to activities that players do after beating the story and are the bulk of what keeps players engaged in the long run. Using that context, a lot of things are actually endgame: - quests - patrols - strikes - nightfall strikes - adventures - public events - lost sectors - heroic story missions - forges - Reckoning - Menagerie - nightmare hunts - Crucible - Gambit/Gambit Prime Along with those listed above, you have the activities that fall into the pinnacle category because they give you better* rewards for extra effort: - dungeons - raids - Nightfall: the Ordeal - Iron Banner - Trials of Osiris
-
No. The only endgame things are raids /grandmaster/master nightfalls and trials.
-
No. Those are the endgame activities you need lfg for :)
-
So that means you agree with me.
-
That's an extremely narrow perspective to have.
-
No. It is a fact. Endgame means it requires the highest light level to beat.
-
By that measure, only Grandmaster Ordeal Nightfalls are considered endgame. - Garden of Salvation, the highest raid, doesn't require anywhere near the highest Power level - Master Ordeal Nightfalls are close but still don't require the highest Power level - Trials of Osiris only requires 960, once again falling far short of the highest Power level required
-
Trials is lowest requirement 960. It is light enabled. So it is actually 1010 light required to do good. Also...master is at highest light.
-
Iron Banner is also Power Enabled, so it falls under the same category as Trials. Another misconception you have about Trials is that 1010 Power is required to do good. Anything above 1000 Power will eliminate any advantage that higher Power can provide because of how Bungie implemented that mechanic. Also, a skilled player can defeat worse players in Trials even with a Power disadvantage. And Master Ordeal Nightfalls don't require the highest Power. I believe they recommend to be 1010 Power, but that's only the highest Power that gear can go to. You can reach much higher than that with the artifact.
-
1010 is the highest you can go...so that is endgame. Also...trials light goes up to 1010...not 1000. Iron banner has a team of 6 with capture zones...so it isnt endgame.
-
You must not understand how Bungie implemented Power Advantage in Iron Banner and Trials. It only comes into play if the Power difference is 10 or more. So someone at 1001 Power will perform just as well as someone at 1010 Power in those playlists. Also, Trials is a 3v3 playlist with capture zones, so it can't be considered endgame by your standards. And again, Master Ordeal Nightfalls aren't at highest Power. They recommend 1010 Power. Even I'm sitting somewhere in the 1020's range, far above the recommended 1010.
-
Look at your gear. What is its highest power level without artifact? That is endgame level. And you are wrong. 10 light difference does affect damage done and recieved. Every 10 light levels is a 2% reduction /increase for damage. The only thing they changed is that the artifact doesnt work in IB and trials. Also...trials does not have capture zones. It has 1 zone if the teams are both bad players...so it isnt there the whole game.
-
You say I'm wrong, but you agree with me? Then you go on to contradict yourself. Also, the artifact is considered a part of your gear as it increases your Power.
-
I didnt agree with you. And artifact isnt part of your gear. Because artifact gets removed every season.
-
I explained how Power Advantage is implemented in Trials and Iron Banner. You said I was wrong then went on to say the same thing I did. You followed that up by saying that Trials has no capture zones then added the fact that it actually does. And even though the artifact gets sunset every season, it simply gets replaced by another one. So one could argue that it merely gets reset instead of removed.
-
Yes. Trials has no capture zones . It has a capture zone after the round is done. Nothing like controll with 3 zones from the start that are the objective. And you said 10 light levels dont matter and only 1000 ljght matters. But you were wrong about that.
-
So does Trials have a capture zone or not? You keep sending mixed signals. And I explained how Power Advantage only comes into play with a Power difference of 10 or more. After that, I gave an example. But yes, if a player is 1001 Power or higher, Power Advantage no longer is a factor in Trials or Iron Banner against people with higher gear. Those players will only have advantage over those lower than themselves by 10 or more while not having to worry about disadvantages themselves.
-
Even 1 light level difference means you do more/less damage. And it seems you have trouble reading. Re-read it slowly...you will understand over time how to read english.
-
10 light difference does affect damage done and recieved. Every 10 light levels is a 2% reduction /increase for damage.
Please explain how this isn't exactly along the lines of what I've been saying in my replies? I know how to read English quite well, but it appears that you don't even know the meaning of things that you personally write. Before you try to insult someone next time, please be sure to be correct yourself beforehand.
-
You said that 10 light difference does not matter at all. And you were wrong. Every light level difference matters in those playlists.
-
Go back and re-read the first two replies in which I mention how Power Advantage is implemented. "Re-read it slowly" this time.
-
I did read it . And you were wrong. 1000 is not the max light that counts in those activities. It is 1010. And 10 light levels does make a difference.
-
I'm going to spell it out for you, since you don't have adequate reading comprehension: - I said that anything over 1000, i.e. 1001 or above, is all you need to avoid any Power disadvantage in Trials or Iron Banner. - I said that Power Advantage doesn't come into play until there's a Power difference of 10 or more. Meaning that a Power gap of 10 is what matters, but anything from one to nine is pointless. Again, you should work on your own reading comprehension before trying to insult others'. This concludes today's English lesson.

No matter how you spell W-R-O-N-G it still spells wrong. ANY LIGHT LEVEL DIFFERENCE MATTERS. 1-2 light level difference means you need 1 bullet less for a SMG or auto. That means auto's would kill you 1 bullet faster and you would kill them 1 bullet slower. Th only thing bungie changed was that artifact light doesnt affect that content.
