Gunsmiths sight: Mandalorian's submission. (Pt.1)
I'll post this one now. Part 2 (the sword) is currently in progress.
Mandalorian strides down the halls of an ancient cathedral-esque fortress to a small and dusty work area thats well equipped with a lathe, drillpress, a handful of other milling and machining machines, and workbench. Among the dust lie the pieces of projects, old things in need of refurbishing and a new design since forgotten. He lifts an aged revolver off the table and blows the dust away. "I see you there, time hasn't killed you. Tomorrow is taking the horizon but your not ready, we can amend that." Mandalorian leaves the dusty quiet of the workshop, for the roaring oblivion at the edge of a star. The Cobra. After arriving at the starbound forge he quickly sets to work cleaning the prized relic and restoring it to service before testing its old margins, flexing its strike and precision. "You are held high for prior service, but more is now being demanded,  and your bite has lost its venom, let us bring it back." Mandalorian drops the Longarm revolver into a trough of liquid starfire and pulls out the purified, gleaming weapon minutes later, devoid of the wear of time and use. He admires the revolver, glowing and crackling as its new power seeps deep into its bones where it settles. "Welcome to the climb." He opens the break and drops eight fresh shells into the empty cylinder then snaps it back closed before letting half the volley take the sky and the targets. "Good, you still rise to meet the hammer," He takes aim at numerous targets outside the station and fires off a full volley in its entirety, "yes, legend still burns within. Now, we need to trim up the performance." Mandalorian takes the Longarm to a work bench and disassembles it and retrieves internal mechanisms. He begins carefully adjusting and filing them to his liking before returning them to their compartments. He takes the cylinder off its axis and makes some fine, imperceptible changes to the chambers and sets it aside. Next He turns his attention to the barrel, for which he takes out a cleaning kit and gives it several passes until it shines, afterward he takes out a rifling tool and slowly, steadily recuts the old rifling then makes some imperceptible adjustments to it. Before reassembling it he greases the cylinder bearings for a smooth cycle. After inspecting his work he decides to refresh the engraving, and cleans the neatly carved scratches so they now reveal an internal glow. Once he accomplishes all this he polishes the relic made new before holstering it in a new holster.
"The Cobra" .44 Longarm revolver. 1. Way of the Cobra: The wielder can take a moment and select a target(s), 4 at base and up to a maximum of 12, disregards ammunition count at higher levels. "At one time I lived amongst a people who were dedicated to their craft that they weren't just masters sword, but also of the revolver. So dedicated were they that they could choose to hit or miss by the most impossible margins. But shouldn't go without saying, any worth having is worth working for, and you won't get anywhere near such accuracy or precision without practicing." 2. Precision shot: spend 2 bullets for a precision shot with high penetration. Stacks with speed slinging. (Does not stack with Way of the Cobra.) 3. Charge shot: spend 4 bullets for an explosive shot. Explosive shot works with elemental ammunition/effects. Stacks with speed slinging. (Does not stack with Way of the Cobra.) 4. Speed slinging: temporarily increases rate of fire and reload, speed and duration increase with practice.(Works with Way of the Cobra.) 5. Poly-metric chamber and barrel. "This is a hungry beast, any you can stuff in the chamber, it can shot anything you can stuff in the chamber. But I must say, this is the most radical the tolerances have ever been, I would suggest not going over .50 caliber and nothing under .357, unless of course you are so inclined to alter the regular caliber. Do that very carefully.
"Things don't feel right," Mandalorian remarks, starring at his old made new revolver. "D*** what's wrong. I hate that blade. But things are incomplete, they will be made whole." He tosses the weapon on the work bench and storms out to find an old sword, muttering under his breath, "I hate that place."
edit: I didn't originally include like I was supposed to. It's in now.
