Generating MASSIVE amounts of laurels was not important... at all.
It only made the bounties/medals slightly more convenient to complete.
Only the medals actually "mattered."

But 1/3 of the medals were laurel generation. So they were 1/3 of the importance. Are you saying Titans won only based on getting kills and completing activities?
-
ONLY. THE. MEDALS. MATTERED. So the only thing that was different between the classes was convenience. IE, how FAST you could complete them. Now, it was a BIT more of a chore to do things on the hunter but not a crazy difference. I ran Raiden Flux Arcstrider a lot. No real problems with getting medals done. Titans dunked more medals. End of story.

1/3 of the medals were for laurels. Titans can generate more maurels more quickly. It has a huge impact. your logic also doesn’t make sense because there’s more hunters. At an even rate per player pumping in the same amount of medals you’d expect then hunters to be either on par or more. The laurels tipped tipped the scales. Titans put more medals in because they can complete them quicker.

You don't understand how the event worked and/or what I'm saying. If you went out on your Titan and ran Altar of Sorrows 12 hours a day making laurels like crazy but with no medals in your inventory, you accomplished ZERO for the event. ONLY. THE. MEDALS. MATTERED. Fine maybe "technically" we don't "know" for sure that Titans dunked more in an "absolute" sense but they obviously dunked more compared to their class-weighted medal value. Thanks for being pedantic. Like I said, though, speaking from my own personal experience, it was NOT that hard to do Hunter medals if you were smart. There was not any activity where I said: "Waaaaa, I cannot/will not (did not) do it because I'm on my Hunter."
-
Dude. Just by doing things you complete bronzes and gold. Those medals required zero real effort for ALL classes. we do know that Titans dunked more because they won by a landslide. Why? Because a significant portion of the medals (1/3) were that much easier for them to finish. My Hunter main kid showed us that Titan laurel and even kill generation was easier on a Titan.

Edited by Lull9: 5/12/2020 10:42:31 PMDude, Hunter mains threw a shit-fit because of the class-weighting and gave up. Warlock mains didn't really care, but they also didn't throw a tantrum like the Hunters so they took 2nd. Except for PvP, Warlocks are just as good or better than Titans for making laurels. Titans legit won because they TRIED to. And this is coming from a Warlock main. End of story. Stop crying.
-
No ones crying dude except you. I'm a Warlock main too and tried my fingers off. This post was just my kids perspective on the games. Stop being triggered.
-
No ones crying dude except you.
Really? Lmao... You're crying about Titans making laurels.
Stop being triggered.
*Uses triggered unironically* You sure you're not the "kid?"
-
No. I'm explaining why Titans made laurels faster to someone who is crying that it didn't matter.

Edited by Lull9: 5/12/2020 10:52:43 PM"Waaaaaaaa a Hunter (maybe) had to play one more Crucible match every 3 days." -LoganX Also, the Mayhem week was EASIEST for Hunters... Lmao...
-
When did I cry exactly like that about Hunters? Never. That's your interpretation. I simply pointed out facts. Yes mayhem was better for hunters but that was 1 week and they still placed 3rd. Why? Because mayhem was still that much better for ability spam for Titans.

Edited by Lull9: 5/12/2020 11:57:30 PMThe only place where it REALLY made a difference was PvP. Because you couldn't just use Monte Carlo/demolitionist etc. So Hunters had a "tough" (Really any "worse" than warlocks for general PvP laurels though? Really?) time 2 out of the 3 weeks in PvP while absolutely having the advantage the other week. (And no, dear potato, nothing is better for Mayhem than infinite Blade Barrage). So for 2 out of the 3 weeks, for 1/3 of the PvP medals, out of 1/5 of all the different activity types that's where it really "mattered." That's what you're crying about. (About 4.5% of all medals) Me personally? I play about 4 weekly PvP matches per character typically. I sure as SHIT didn't play MORE on my Titan or LESS on my Hunter because of that small difference.
