Gunsmith: The Junk Gun and The Absorb Sword

Blaze got up and stretched. He saw that Crowley set up a gunsmith challenge, so he was happy to oblige. He went back to his work table, and took out his grappling hook. After taking it apart and laying it out, Blaze got an idea of how he could make a nice sniper rifle. He grabbed some of his steel scrap, and started bending it out. After a few hours, Blaze had set up a pretty........ well, it wasn’t pretty, but after landing his ship and testing it, it worked very well. He was glad he saw Crowley’s daughter enough to engrave a surprisingly nice mandalorian helmet into the stock. After returning to his ship, he realized how..... simple the gun was. It worked, it was ugly, but it wasn’t unique. He thought for a moment, before realizing a perfect addition. Onto the clip, he started adding a small funnel that could accept elemental energy, and funnel it into the bullets. It was simple. All of the titanium rounds were hollow, sacrificing some damage, but allowed elemental energy, or any energy really, to be funneled into it. Then, after testing again with his own power, Blaze inspected the bullseye, and saw it pulsing with electricity. Afterwards, he attached a simple 4-10-20x scope, and took a look at what he made. He bent it into shape a bit more, making it fit snug against a shoulder, and keeping every vital part in check, with only a few jagged edges, but snipers could always use more melee capability. It was ready to send to be judged, not much else he could do, besides hope his junk gun could win. A few hours after sending in his entry, Blaze got it sent back, with a note saying he needed to make a sword. Of course, he saw that announcement, and saw a note was sent in by Sylver. If he had a chance before, it went up in smoke. Luckily, Blaze just wanted to have fun making the weapon. He found some extra titanium scrap, and started forging it into a blade, melting it using the fire of his ships engine. He used a absorbent form of titanium, to do what he did before with the gun. He set up tiny pipes going up from a funnel in the hilt, with a few holes leading onto the sword, letting it accept what you input. He was happy this sword didn’t need to be hollow. A bullet being hollow is a bit less of a deal then a sword. Right above the hilt, he engraved the same mandalorian helmet. He went outside to test it. It felt right, or at least he thought it would, he wasn’t used to this type of weapon. He slashed, and in the middle of the slash, he squeezed the hilt.. The moment he did, a sizeable lightning bolt was let loose. So, it’s good that it worked. He added a small pressure detector under the hilt. He modified it a bit, to make sure it didn’t just expel the energy at any old squeeze. He slashed a few times. The grip, made of the same titanium, except hollow and covered in a bit of comfortable rubber. It was a happy mix of classic weaponry, magic, and tech. Even if it didn’t win, he was happy with it. He sent it in, and waited for judging.
Alright, hope that was decent

Just remembered I should add specs. The sniper is a custom .50 caliber sniper, with a funnel on the side to intake elements. It has jagged edges that can be used as a weapon, but don’t impact gun or user. The sword is made of titanium, with small pipes going up it to disperse elements evenly from the funnel on the hilt. It has a rubber hilt, with a pressure sensor inside. The blade will automatically absorb and element fired on it. Elements can be used on normal slashes to improve them, or sent out in a burst when you squeeze the hilt hard enough. Both have an engraving of a mandalorian helmet, on the stock for the sniper, and right above the hilt for the sword.
