A lot of people here are talking about Offtopic maps So I feel like I wanna gib it a whirl :P
Personally I think the map is subjective to everyone, but i wanna make one. I know toaster and HoTh did some but I couldn't really make out the maps? I'll do it digitally and add some cute lil sketches on it
So my question is:

· What is Offtopic? Island floating through a void? On planet earth? Its own planet? I'll pick whatever is most convenient to me or preferably by popular vote

The Fortress of Vault B, is a Pyramid of grey Steel with an enormous underground complex below it, deep with in is the enigmatic spherical "Vault B", It's in the more Barren region of offtopic, where the deeproot has taken hold.

1 ReplyWould be kinda cool to have Cara’s town somewhere in there, though I don’t know how much of an impact it would have (it’s small and kinda just recently came into existence when I started RPing here). But just in case you want to add it in there, I originally (and rather accidentally) had it somewhere in the “western forests of Offtopic”. I came up with the name Kleinton. Again, it’s a small town, and I guess might be in a bit more of a Medievalish setting. It’s sort of remote, but they get a lot of travelers and tradesmen. Inside Kleinton is the Silver Stag Inn, where Cara works.

1 ReplyOk I’m ready. So my house is an average 2 floor house it can be put wherever the normal looking houses go. But then there’s my cave on the outskirts of OT, it’s not a huge cave but it goes down and leads to a dark, red portal that once entered exits in Hell, specifically the former Demon of Madness’ lair.

Over the years I have built myself a little keep/castle that I stay in at times and use to store things in. It would probably be in the outskirts of the map, probably to the northeast so I can ever vigilantly watch over the city itself. It would probably be hidden away in a clearing in woods so not many know where it is.

4 RepliesI’d say, for a semi-official map, make Offtopic on its own planet. There are plenty of planets out there, some more or less developed than others. Some rely on more magic, some do not. It’s often possible to slip from one location to another (despite actual distance), often without realizing it. Offtopic itself would be a sort of world nexus, in which is such pathways are inconsistent yet relatively common, hence the activity of Offtopic. Higher-dimensional realms are up to creative freedoms on how you want to display them, but I’ll say I consider the Twilight Valley to be a similar nexus of worlds such as Offtopic. That being mentioned, please include the Twilight Valley. If you’re not familiar with it, I can supply some details.

I like to think that my command and storage facilities are located to the rough Northwest if the central city. I generally think that Offtopic is a circular city divided into sections. Each section gradually gets more and more modern as it gets to the center, and the middle is towering skyscrapers. As you get to the outside, it gets more medieval and rustic, with farms surrounding the outside. [spoiler]Hecking Spitfires[/spoiler]

And of course we need 221 B Baker Street(and while we are adding a single apartment we should add the entire street.) since that’s where Warlock Holmes and John Watson lives.
