While others use their principles to help themselves.... Shûb does not care for principles. The Hive have the Sword Logic which says tha- Be quiet! Nobody came here for the Sword Logic! The great thing about the Shûb Logic.... Is that there is nothing logical about it. Shûb isn’t trying to help others or even help himself. He just wants to destroy stuff. He is not killing things because he has a goal in mind. He is killing things because he can.... And because everything is trying to kill him as well. Shûb isn’t killing things to become stronger or prove that he is a better life form who is more worthy of living. Those are just added bonuses! There was one time where Shûb had beaten down a Devil Walker with its own cannon. Was he trying to show how much more efficient he was at completing public events than guardians were? NO!!! He merely saw a Devil Walker and felt like smashing it. Trying to destroy something could be considered a goal... But Shûb really doesn’t think of it as one. He refuses to think that hard. So basically, the Shûb Logic is the equivalent of when you are asked why you did a certain thing and you answer with “Just because”.
