Judgement’s Right Hand (Fanifc)

Wanted: Shadow, Of House Judgement ———————————————————————————————————— |The Tower, Present Day| ———————————————————————————————————— “So let me get this straight? You want me to prevent your superiors from harming Shadow?” Rulis asked “And Variks” Paradox added “Ok, Tajiks let’s get moving” Rulis replied Paradox then went back to work filing and writing legal documents just in case they needed them. Silas checked out all of the locations where Variks had gone. Even though it took him a while he finally found Variks inside of his own personal Ketch. Silas told Variks what was happening at the Tower. Though that only happened after he had managed to convince the rest of the Eliksni, except one of them who called himself Wolf. He figured that Wolf only reacted that way due to his close relationship with Shadow, though that relationship was not as close as her relationship with Variks, or at least that’s what Silas thought. ———————————————————————————————————— |Meanwhile Back At The Tower| ———————————————————————————————————— Rulis was following the rumors about Shadow’s location, and he finally managed to find it. “I think this is it” Delta said “Looks like the place” Rulis replied There was a lot of broken guns in the alleyway, but there was no door, or at least not a noticeable one. Delta scanned the area for a bit, and she found nothing. Rulis ended up trying some tricks that he had learned from Variks back at the Vestian Outpost. After fiddling around for some amount of time he had finally managed to get inside. Once the door opened he saw a sliver of light out of the corner of his eye. Rulis knew that he was on the right track. The whole entire hideout was covered in cloth painted with the symbol of House Judgement. After a little bit of searching around Rulis heard something outside. Silas appeared behind them out of thin air along with Ûron. Silas gestured towards the trip-mines all over the area, Rulis nodded silently before bending and weaving in between the lasers. Ûron followed after him, yet Silas just stared at them before closing the door behind them. Ûron looked back at the door only to see a shadow walk past the door and towards Silas, this however did not alarm Ûron in the slightest. ———————————————————————————————————— Ûron took off his helmet, yet Rulis didn’t bother with it. The two continued down the hallway until they reached the central room. They saw a Guardian there, and she was brandishing Translation Theory. The Guardian was a short Awoken woman, she had short black hair and orange eyes. Her skin was as white as the fur on her cloak. She turned around with Hawthorne’s Shotgun in her hands, the gun was loaded. “Stand back! Or else” She said threateningly “We don’t mean you any harm miss” Ûron addressed “You don’t? Well then why are you here? Who sent you?” Shadow questioned Rulis then took off his helmet, this caused Shadow to reel back a little bit, yet she caught herself. “We want to help you, one if our friends is in the Praxic Order. He says your innocent, and he wants to help you, and Variks.” Rulis told her “So, you want to help me and Variks? I’ll get my things and we’ll get going if that’s what you want.” Shadow told them Ûron nodded to her, and Rulis went over to help Shadow with her things, it was mostly weapons among other things. The three of them exited the hideout at night. Ûron decided to go directly to Paradox’s apartment to tell him the good news. Rulis went with Shadow to make sure that she could contact Variks because she was probably concerned for him, as they made their way towards the apartments Shadow asked them both a question. “Who are you?” ————————————————————————————————————
:A brief teaser to my next story: “Time is such a petty concept is it not, O user mine?” The shadow said “Now Xyun, no need to get like that now do we?” Silas asked Xyun didn’t respond, she just kept advancing towards him, her shadowy form changing until it resembled that of a Snake crossed with an Eagle crosse with a Lion, along with the head of a dragon. All Silas could do was back away into a corner. He thought this was the end for him, yet someone stepped in to stop it. “Now what’s goin on ‘ere?”
