there is no more unlocking the forges. all forges are on a daily rotation and accessed via the edz map, lower left corner there should be an icon.

The thing is, I don't have them on the EDZ map, my friend who unlocked it says now it's the Volundr Rotation but I don't have it since I didn't unlocked it, I think it's a bug cause I don't have the machine gun frame required to open the BA crates, which have the weapon core. Another friend who just started playing, he had the machine gun frame in his pursuits tab and could do the quest to unlock the forge, I don't even have the quest to unlock the forge, but i got the Izanami burden quest
