Syndicate (Fanfic)

———————————————————————————————————— |Venus, Ishtar Region, Present Day| ———————————————————————————————————— “You sure about doing this? We could die, permanently.” Alak asked “Yes, old friend, yet somethings off about this place. The facility isn’t heavily guarded, there are no defenses at all.” Silas responded “Aunor just messaged me, she knows that we’re here, her Warlocks won’t attack us, they’re just scouting the area.” Arron said Silas just nodded, and under the cover of night they made their way into the base. Silas had recently made a deal with Shavoz-88 for some dead ghosts. The deal was, how could he put it, rough to say the least. Sahvoz thought that he died, nope he just blinked to safety. Gambit had taught him a thing or two about survival. The Drifter’s methods were all too familiar to him, having been resurrected during the Dark Ages. Alak signaled to the other Warlocks, and they signaled back, one with the Praxic fire and the other with a storm. ———————————————————————————————————— The base itself was previously owned by Kurtz Inc., a reputable Golden Age business, they made some Exos in the past, most notably, Shavoz. Alak and Arron went inside, meanwhile Silas kept watch with the others. Silas could be a very formidable opponent when you got on his bad side. He made a couple of deals in his lifetime, including one with an Ahamkara, Xyun. You really wouldn’t want to mess with him when he had Xyun on his side. She could make anyone go insane and want to kill themselves. She was merciful in that way, and Silas could agree with that, he had been cheated and lied to more times than he cared to remember. His threat to Shavoz was an empty one, he never wanted to kill him, not in a million years. ———————————————————————————————————— “We got the parts, we got ‘em alright!” Arron yelled “Good, now let’s get out of here before anyone shows up, okay?” Silas asked Then one of the Praxics stepped forward “Agreed, besides, Aunor decided not to demote me after all. She’s got bigger things to deal with as of now.” The Warlock said They all decided to leave Venus immediately, and as the trio went to leave, the Praxic followed them. Silas smiled beneath his helmet and addressed the Warlock. “Paradox, I’m surprised to see you here.” Silas said Paradox nodded in reply, and the four of them walked away towards their ships. Yet as they did someone was watching them from the trees, they smiled to themselves before leaving to an unknown location. ————————————————————————————————————

 • Yer autocorrect seems to like callin’ me Shavoz. Other than that, and the fact that you shouldn’t have survived even being near that area, everything looks good. Ain’t never seen one of those death traps not crawling with security, so it was definitely a trap. Watch your back out there, bud.
