Hi there!
Can you please provide your system specs? Also, can you check and make sure that your GPU driver is on the latest version.

Edited by MaxRadikal: 4/25/2020 2:33:25 PMHey, yeah my driver is up to date. I have a ryzen 5 3600 and Rx 590 Fatboy on an Asus tuf Mobo b450 model. 16 gig dual channel ram at 3000 mghz. I've tried different ram speeds and it doesn't seem to change. Windows 10 is up to date and the system is in SSD with games on HDD. From what I've seen the issue has nothing to do with people's hardware on their rig.

AMD-based devices have been known to have issues with their BIOS and graphics cards. I'm not sure where the exact issue is coming from, but I believe they have released several updates to their BIOS to correct these issues. Please check with your mainboard manufacturer and the AMD site and make sure you have the latest BIOS available.

Bios is up to date. Just also wanted to point out that I play other games and the issue doesn't happen with any other game. I think it's funny that some people automatically think it's an AMD thing. For a little advice next time you should probably ask if it happens in any other games before you jump to the conclusion that it's an AMD issue. Not to say AMD is perfect. But Intel and Nvidia have their share of problems and bugs as well. But from what I've seen the issue happens to Intel and Nvidia systems.

The reason why I didn't do that is because troubleshooting issues normally do not include "does it happen in any other game". That is not a standard practice of troubleshooting hardware or software issues. Each game handles GPU and CPU usage differently. I could have zero problems using Adobe-related products for video editing, but if I have a problem with a different edit application, I can't go to that support team and say that I have no issues with Premiere Pro. I also did not jump to conclusions, I did what I always do: ask the questions and get the low-hanging fruit out of the way. If you sit in orbit, the issue seems to appear? After about how long? This doesn't sound like a graphics issue, but more of a system resource issue. Something is bleeding your resources dry.
-
No it happens no matter what. It just seems to be worse after sitting in orbit for longer. It does it at the tower, in orbit, and on every destination. In Gambit and in crucible. But like I said, not when I'm in any other part of the game other than the literal character item change, item menu, options, shaders, mods, etc.
-
OK, if it is happening no matter what, this sounds like something is leaking memory. Lets get more of the basics out of the way! Try the following: -Open a command prompt, with administrative privileges -Run the following command "sfc /scannow" -Allow the process to complete, let me know the status You can also run a chkdsk on your drive -In the same command prompt window, type "chkdsk C:" (replace the C: with your system drive) -If it asks you to reboot to perform, please reboot your system and allow it to perform.
-
So that's it?
-
Scan the files found no problems no further action is required
-
Checking disk
-
Windows resources protection did not find any integrity violations
-
Yeah I had a worse issue with a prime 450 board and when I updated the bios it was fine. I'll check my version and get back to you. But I'm pretty sure it's up to date.
