[b]Please enjoy if you want to... or don’t... I won’t hate you.[/b] The lunar sky was lit up with carnage at Sorrows Harbor. Shûb and seven Guardians were locked in an intense battle with the Nightmare of Phogoth. Shûb was doing a decent job keeping the Nightmare distracted. They were both locked in each others gaze. Their eye beams were strong and their rage was unwavering. A fury of bullets and supers were unleashed. There were nightmares trying to get to the rift in the middle. Shûb ran over to the Wizard Nightmare, crushing a few hive along the way. A hunter was shot down by the Wizard, and a titan was attempting to revive them. Before the wizard moved any closer, Shûb grabbed it. He used his full force to slam it into the ground. The wizard was still alive, but burned away once Shûb blasted it. Shûb turned his focus back to Phogoth. It’s red shield came down. The hunter used their tether. The rest fired their heavies while Shûb used his eye beam. The Nightmare of Phogoth swung and smashed. Shûb focused on its heart. Sadly, that kept him open for an eye blast. Shûb tumbled backwards once Phogoth’s beam hit him. Shûb blocked it with the side of his body.... He wouldn’t be able to for long. Shûb began to feel his arm burn. It hurt terribly, but he kept pushing forward. A volley of rockets exploded in Phogoth’s face. The Nightmare turned its gaze to a warlock inside of a healing rift. Shûb’s armor was crackling with void and soulfire. This was his chance to get up close and personal to Phogoth. Without hesitation, he sprinted right up to Phogoth’s chest. In the time he was running over, a warlock had cast a nova bomb. Shûb was blasting the Nightmares heart as it tried to push him away.... Then the massive purple ball blasted the both of them. It shook the ground and blew away acolytes like dust. The Nightmare of Phogoth screamed. It’s body was ripped open by a powerful void beam. The Nightmare exploded into a red burst, and then vanished. The remaining hive retreated... But Shûb was still standing. His body wasn’t shaking with anger like it used to. The guardians were locked in a staring contest of sorts. Shûb was battered.... Void particles had burned into his armor. Whatever happened in the second the nova bomb erupted... Had given Shûb power he had never felt. He was filled with adrenaline, but was able to hold in his rage for now. A chest popped up in front of Shûb. The guardians looked at the chest, and then at Shûb. The didn’t fight the Nightmare for nothing. With much hesitation, the guardians walked up to the chest and grabbed their rewards... Just mere feet away from Shûb. They left as quickly as possible.
