So that youll buy season pass to get more materials. This game isnt f2p anymore. Its literally pay to win. Inb4 "achtually just because you pay for more materials doesnt make it pay to win" Pay to win is a model in which in game advantages can be bought. It doesnt ensure a win. Its about paying for some kind of advantage. Of which more materials and more high light level drops clearly is. Also armor 2.0 was a mistake and so, too, will be weapons 2.0.

If you run the dungeon on all three characters every week you'd be swimming in upgrade materials.

Pretty much every 'ftp' game is pay to win in some form or other...it's how they make money. I have yet to come across a game that's a charity. Sadly, that's where we're at in today's modern gaming environment, thanks to trash mobile games and their extortionate, exploitative, psychologically manipulative monetisation strategies. There can't be any surprise that the cancer of freemium models and all their other shifty little cons has spread throughout game design and manufacture at all. It's the bean counters, corporate execs, shareholders and investors that are to blame...primary considerations now, for most of these companies, is how to achieve continual positive financial growth, not how do we make a good product that people will enjoy and have fun with.

  • It was never free to play in the first place. Went from an over priced false advertised triple A title (was barely maybe a double A title) to a free to enter game.
