-_- You don't deserve a second chance. You will receive no sympathy or pity on this forum. Not from Bungie or the players. They are under no obligation to respond to this post or your appeal form. If they don't respond more than likely they never will. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done.

 • I didn't even do anything to the game, what does my interests of a program has to do with bungie's anti-cheat software and for my penalty to my account. I feel like it's unfair to spy my PC for everything I do. Yes I know this post won't do anything for my account which I said that in the post already. this was meant to be for the community. I didn't broke them on purpose. have you read the whole thing?

 • They dont spy on everything you do. You agreed to the EULA. The anti-cheat can scan your PC freely ONLY when playing Destiny 2. It caught you, and know you're banned

 •
I feel like it's unfair to spy my PC for everything I do.
first, they are not spying on everything you do. They actively check for restricted software running while d2 is running. Had you not ran a cheat program WHILE d2 was running they would have no idea you had it. Second, what is unfair is your attempt to cheat at the game. Regardless of your intent, you knowingly opened a cheat app while d2 was running and clicked the features to "see what it could do", so for all intents and purposes you were actively attempting to cheat at the game. From Bungie (or any dev standpoint) there is no difference between you and someone who opened cheat engine to actively cheat at the game, both ran the same software and both clicked on the options within the cheat.

 • but I haven't done anything to the game, both were running at the same time, yes I get that, but can this mistake not get a second chance? I spent over 250 € in there and so much pain and time.

 •
but I haven't done anything to the game, both were running at the same time,
what do you think those buttons in the cheat engine were doing when you were clicking them? They were trying to inject cheats into the game. 250 or 250,000 it does not matter, you broke the rules. Why do you think you deserve a 2nd chance? You tried to cheat, full stop. You may not have wanted to, but it the fact is you opened a cheat app while playing d2 and tried to utilize the features of the cheat. Your " I didn't mean to" story is the exact same thing players who wanted to cheat give so Bungie has a black and white response, cheat = ban.

 • I understand the cheat = ban, if you cheat in the game then you get banned. I don't have anything to say about your comment, because you don't know me enough to know what my interests was about. Curiosity killed me, what can I say.

 •
you don't know me enough to know what my interests was about.
and neither does Bungie, therefore you are going to be lumped in with everyone else as a cheater.
Curiosity killed me, what can I say.
That sums it up, now you just have to accept it and either start over or move on.

 • Bungie thinks it's unfair to use programs that hack and inject malicious coding into their online services 🤷🏾‍♀️

When you started. Intent. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. They monitor D2. Not your PC. Enjoy the ban cheater.

 • wow I feel like, you think I'm a monster who would ruin other people's fun in the game, but that's wrong. I also follow the rules I just did something outside of Destiny 2. The game was just tabbed out. nothing more.

 • If I don't get my account back there is no point on starting again, because I think they also banned my device ( my PC) to not let me play again ever. so someone buys a cheat program where he can kill every enemy in one second, gets treated the same as some just opening an obvious program that didn't do anything to the game? rough...

Hopefully you don't return. Of course you all get treated the same. That's what I call fair.

 • so someone who willingly kills someone in real life gets treated the same as someone who did it on accident? I helped a lot of people in the Destiny community to reach their goal and bring a lot of people to laugh, to give them a nice experience and when I do a mistake, I get left out? It's like when the nice guy does everything nice and good, but then never getting anything back. I am that nice guy.

 • at this point I suggest continuing digging my own grave and jump straight into it, since I feel like my suicide thoughts are coming back faster and worse than ever.

 • I use Destiny 2 as an escape world for my shitty life, destiny kept me happy and I really don't like calling there since I hate talking about my thoughts at all. Maybe it's my destiny to get banned and end my life. 2020 in general was/is shit for me. more and more bad luck happened to me in this year. The ban was one of the biggest one. I probably would immediately kill myself if my PC or my phone died out of nowhere. the ban came with a reason to me with a hidden message and feel like you opened my eyes a little bit closer. AND anyway how are they gonna help my loneliness, no friends, no girlfriend, no outside family(like aunts, uncle, cousin etc.). shitty job. no meet and greet, tho i hate any of that, but at least Destiny 2 gave me happiness which I all ever needed! Starting from all over again is unacceptable!
