If there aren’t any witches, look out for a pair of ogres on the sides. Sometimes you have to kill them instead and then the orbs will appear

Good tip - no ogres though. Only thing interesting was orange bar arc shielded knights, and some orange bar acolytes. Killed them all, nada. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm pretty confident the game glitched.
