at least u got banned for doing something i got restricted because bungie cant fix their servers and the beaver error codes my networked worked fine last season so idk what to do now

You do know that things change over time so have you even looked into your internet. When was the last time did you reset your router and then clear your system's cache as everyone recommends to be done on a regular basis more so after a lot of downloading. Have you looked up error codes.

I’ve only ever got beavered and I reset my router the week before it happened because I kept getting beavered but then it still happened there is no possible way it is my net that’s the problem u see even popular d2 players like mtashed getting beavered regularly I’m just the unlucky enlightened to get restricted because of it

the connection data that bungie has shows the cause of the error. If it is a rogue beaver from their end, you would not get restricted. If you are having high packet loss, latency, response time, etc then you get the restriction

See that’s the thing I’m not having any of those problems whenever i played crucible or even did the raid I didn’t have any problems but yet right after I was done those activity’s and i was just by myself in the fire team if I booted up crucible I would be lucky to get one game where I wasn’t beavered and the games I actually got to play we’re perfectly fine and we’re under stable connection

You cannot always tell when you are experiencing lag issues, they are usually on the upload side so your opponents see you teleporting around like an epileptic rabbit with the hiccups and then report you, bungie sees the data and takes appropriate measures.

So what am i supposed to dude be under fear of getting banned every time I wana play the game or just say screw it and stop playing cause idk what to do there is nothing I can do about my internet so I guess I just quit playing this game for a while which rly sucks cause I got nothing else to do during corona time

First step would be to troubleshoot your connection, maybe with the help of your ISP. Second, during times of high errors (assuming you have verified your connection) stay out of pvp until everything calms down. Third, it is unlikely you would get a ban for connection issues. You would get a splash screen warning, then a 2 week restriction, then a 2 month and then a permanent restriction from pvp/gambit modes so you would not be banned, just limited to pve content.

Only time I ever got a splash screen warning was when I played on PlayStation at the start of destiny 2 and it said bad connection nothing ever came of it since then I didn’t get 1 error code or anything like that until this season I switched to pc during the release of Shadowkeep and had no problems until now I played some crucible the night before I got restricted and wasn’t having any problems when I woke up I was restricted so idk if they didn’t give me a warning because I got one all the way back in vanilla d2 or what

There is no time limit. If you got one at the start of d2, the next time you had an issue, even if it was now, you would be on step 2 which would be a 2 week restriction.

Man that sucks dude every time I play the damm game now I’m gona be afraid of getting restricted for 2 months thx for providing some insight into this god knows bungie hasn’t done jack to help

Funny how this is the typical response. Have you checked your internet. Its gotta be you, not bungie. Well, I know personally 7 other people besides me that are dealing with beaver codes and now watercress (the kiss of death). I log in and nothing, I log in with a buddies account, oh, all fine and dandy. BUNGIE needs to address these known errors affecting thousands of players, not allowing them even to play a game, rather than worrying fixing a drop error in trials. But, thats just my two cents.

Your issue is not paying attention of what is going on. Bungie is looking into Watercrest errors as it is a known issue but fewer than expected are suffering from it. And you do know that at this time Bungie is working from home so programmers are having issues getting access to the game code which Bungie hope to have solved (at no small expense) soon.
