Held down by heavy chains and hive magic. Shûb was inside a chamber which was obviously hive. He remembers three guardians. He was surrounded. There was lightning, a bow of void, and a hammer of fire.... Then he was torn away and wound up here. By who?.... A figure appeared above Shûb. It had sharp horn protrusions and a black dress, covered in bone. It floated down to Shûb. It was a wizard, but a bit larger than a normal wizard... Her name was Asathi. She pondered at Shûb for a bit. Floated around him multiple times. Shûb tried to break free, but couldn’t. She did not plan to let him go... Not yet at least. Asathi:.... You’re letting your power go to waste.... Let me make you stronger. She outstretched her arm. Shûb felt incomprehensible pain. His screams were loud, but nobody would hear them. Shûb’s armor grew thicker and turned black. It was weighing him down, but he kept pushing up harder and harder. Shûb did not know why Asathi was giving him more power. If he broke free he would just kill her.... Something changed. Shûb thought of the three guardians again. But not with fear this time.... The chains had broken off his arms, and the weight of the hive magic had been lifted. Shûb had been changed. Asathi floated right up to his face. He was no longer the swarm traitor, the light fearer, the unfinished. He was given purpose... He was now Shûb, Rage of Asathi.
