As I've said before: Armor "Ornaments" are based on Diablo's Transmog. So why can't you have all armor you collected BE an ornament? I mean ALL armor, from the "damaged" ones from the start of the Red War campaign to exotics. Sadly, the answer is quite simple: Eververse. If you had all the armor that you collected as ornaments, people probably wouldn't want to spend money/dust on it. Just like most of the game nowadays, armor ornaments are an excellent idea made trash thanks to greed.

  • They could still do ornaments (yo dawg I heard you like ornaments) for those pieces to change how they look. Even if I had every piece, I'd probably still be down to purchase at least some of these if they looked cool.

  • I wouldn't complain if the all armors you got became "transmogs" in the form of ornaments that you unlock by getting said armor (no "you want your New Monarchy ornaments? Please buy them from Eververse) and Bungie sold new ornaments (like the season pass ones) on eververse. On top of that, they should unlock the ability to use shaders on exotics weapons. The possibility is there, but it's locked. PS.: Outbreak with the "Bergusian Night" shader would be BEAUTYFUL.
