Yo. Moved back over to D1 for the majority of last week and this week.
If you want to see quality content D1 is the place to go. There’s some QOL issues that were changed in D2 (sprint cooldown, ledge grab, applying shaders to individual pieces) but when it comes to content replayability, unique loot, making interesting builds and feeling powerful D1 is the way to go.
The player population is smaller than D2 but there’s still quite a few people. I even logged onto my PS3 Taken King account and the Tower on PS3 had a full page of people in the Tower, which is about 12 people in one server.
Matchmaking for some of the more niche activities can be spotty, but for the main playlists things still matchmake quickly.
And there’s quite a few active LFGs for everything D1, the one I use primarily is the PS4 community Destiny’s Destiny. Met a few great guys through that and had some good times.
So I’d say get it. There’s a bit of getting used to to be done, but it’s a blast that I’ve actually done on multiple accounts.
Also, ensure you buy from the console virtual store as all physical copies have expired

Lmfao "quality content" That's a good one.

Don’t think its any worse than these crappy bunkers and now a random spaceship headed for Earth

Edited by Unbreakable Patches: 4/5/2020 4:38:24 PMFor as much as people poop their pants about D2, the quality of content in D1 wasn’t really a lot better. And there was less of it. Destiny’s strength has always been its gameplay, not its content, honestly.

Maybe I just prefer D1?

Better than shit makes it a 5 star meal?
-
Better than reskinned Obelisks and glorified tower defense mobile game.
-
That's not saying much

Still better.
