I can only talk for myself. Playing predominantly control and I consider matchmaking working well.

This is an out and out lie. Player pool is down. Quite a few noobs. Solo Survival means carrying 2 other players. Amazed the TWAB didn’t mention hardlight. The solo survival playlist is pure hardlight spam at the moment

Curious how you should be able to assess my game experience and telling that matchmaking wouldn't work for me? Matchmaking does mean two things. First you need to find other players at all second they should be on a similar skill level. Playing control I do not always end up in full lobbies - sometimes starting with 4 vs 4 teams - but players on average are on similar skill level. Some games won, some lost. Some games with partially same players, then - most often when one team receives a mercy - new teams next game. Working as intended imho.
