Your team needs to get a lot better at thinking about how bounties might pervert the incentive to play objective in the core game. Or how they might lead to divergent priorities among team members in a core activity. We’ve seen this before in Gambit and Comp. To see token farming play out in Trials now is the least surprising development this season.
What this signals is a serious flaw in development, testing, and QC.
What I’m taking from all this is that you fly by the seat of your pants and don’t coordinate product review very well.
So how well thought out is your plan to disincentivize your players by sunsetting weapons every 9 - 15 months? You’ve misread so much - starting with radically changing D1’s approach to player incentives on D2 launch.
I have no faith that you’ll actually deliver “better” anything by making the loot we’ve earned obsolete in end game.
