Just wanted to add , same thing happens to me and countless others on Xbox -black screen of death , watercress, never make it orbit anymore so completely unplayable.
Perhaps of interest is that I can log into and play destiny one (and every other game)
So hmmmmm, database corruption or that one silly exotic bounty that I didn't finish on one of my characters?

Actually got to orbit, got to tower, bounty up'd and selected earth, saw my non moving ship for about a min and then newt, followed by long black screen of death and watercress. Shoulda probably gone to orbit 1st but it doesn't matter now. Volunteering for a bungie tech to do an account recovery and test away! (Just drop a 1k in my vault and complete egg 14 for me already)

I did exactly that when I could suddenly get in for five glorious minutes. Hey -blam!-. It only happened once in the now 14 days I haven’t been able to play - wish I’d done something more productive than go to the Tower to buy bounties!

That wasn’t an actual ‘blam’ above, it was a British saying meaning ‘Ah well’, but I guess the second two-letter word has a different meaning in the US! 😂
