I agree. Most times except trials I play solo. How i find myself being stacked against a group of 3 to 6 everytime is beyond me.
I mean, bungie made a solo comp game mode. Would it be difficult to make a solo quick play mode where it's 6 vs 6? I love the idea of 6 solo players vs 6 solo players.
Plus I do enjoy loading into a screen that says "your team lost" the moment I load into a game. Makes no sense.
The worst PvP i have ever seen or played, ranging from networking issues to matchmaking to cheating.
It just gets worse and worse.

If all the solos play in a solo only playlist then no one would be able to stack because they would be waiting for one person to join which would never happen
-
It would stack teams together regardless of how many people in a fireteam e.g you can have 3 teams of 2 vs 1 stack of 6.
-
What about a stack of five or a stack of two and three? No it wouldn’t be the end of the world if they add a freelance for iron banner and I would be happy to see it come but it would increase load times in a game where loads times are half the game.
-
I’m sure not all solos would play solo only. I played 3 games of Comp in a 2 stack we had no trouble finding a solo.
-
Edited by SquidSlayer25: 4/3/2020 3:22:49 AMComp is different because if the solo can have two other people that communicate together then that can be better for them but in quick play people don’t care about winning so they would all just play solos
-
What? Lol. If anything people are more likely to play Quick play freelance or not. Since communication is irrelevant. If Freelance can worth for a smaller more communication oriented game mode like comp it’ll work for 6s.
-
If the communication is irrelevant then why care about other people having a stack
-
Cause my solo squad doesn’t. The stack does. The point is solo only queue didn’t -blam!- with Comp’s ability to find full games for queues that have groups. Lol.
-
But like I said it would with quick play. Lol.
-
No it wouldn’t.
-
Ok. You got me. Where can I vote
-
There’s literally in game proof of the system working. At this point you’re just too stupid to realize it. Why waste my time explaining it?
-
Show me the proof smart guy
-
We been talking about it. It’s freelance comp, are you inbred?
-
You caught me I’m inbred. But I said how this system wouldn’t work in the environment of quick play but all you said was “no it wouldn’t”
-
If it works in a more teamwork oriented playlist how would it fail in quick play? And I didn’t even suggest it for QP, I said Iron Banner needs it.
-
Because the majority of solo people would move to the new playlist resulting in the old one having much longer load times because it would be harder to find the right amount of people
-
I literally just told you that wasn’t the case. I’ve solo (not in freelance) and group queued normal comp with no long queue times. Listen, at this point we’ll just have to agree to disagree. Have a good one, be safe.
-
Ok you too

Played Comp. The enemy team had two guys with 4300+ glory, and one guy with 2800 glory (they were a 3 stack). I have 3000 glory, my teammates had 720 glory and 2400 glory respectively (I was in a 2 stack with my 2400 glory friend). This actually happened in back to back games before we called it quits. Long story short, yes the matchmaking is complete garbage. It's been rigged to try keep player's win rates at 50%. It's why one game you'll absolutely clap the opposing team and the next game you'll get thumped by 5/6 stacks. Iron banner needs a freelance mode for sure.
-
Yeah i was mainly clapping teams left right and centre was a fun week
