D2 kinda sucks but saying d1 was a fantastic game simply isn’t true. If we flipped the games around in terms of content we’d all love d2 more simply because we got a lot more stuff over it’s life cycle. D1 has year gaps basically between real content drops. D2 while the content hasn’t been the best stuff ever we’ve never really had much of a content drought. There has always been something relatively newish to go do. We’d have killed for anything whatsoever during d1’s life cycle like a -blam!-ing story mission that sucked would have been well received at times.

  • I'd rather wait for content to be developed and be of actual quality than the garbage we are receiving currently. They only managed to pull of Forsaken and the AP since they had 2 studios helping them.

  • You'd complain either way, don't lie.

Uh... no I wouldn't because I'm not an impatient little -blam!-? I would wait a whole -blam!-ing 2 years for a great big DLC than get Shitkeep and these "seasons". There is plenty of other games to play in the mean time I don't need to exclusively play Destiny like some Reddit -blam!- do already and bootlick to defend their purchase.

  • I don't know if that's totally true. In destiny, yes there were content droughts but during those times you could go play something else. In destiny 2 you are over saturated with stuff to do and if you don't do all of it, you fall way behind.

  • I’d agree you can fall behind but myself for example here. I quit during black armoury and came back in early January. By mid February I had nearly completely maxed my 3 characters of pinnacles and completed just about ever pinnacle/ritual weapon. Only things I actually needed was some random exotics, a bit of MT, tarrabah and a god rolled garden pulse. Within 2 and a half months I did a years worth of content pretty easily. I enjoyed catching up but before I knew it I’d finished every single goal I set out for myself, finished a bunch of cats and got all the raid weapons I wanted like if I fully optimized my grinding I probably could have finished it all with the seals I did in under 2 months. You can still shelf destiny, missing a season like worthy is t the end of the world. Fomo only grabs you if you let it imo and even then, there’s nothing worth the effort it takes to get this season.
