If you want to play the campaigns solo, D1 could be fun. But it's not going to be well populated. In general matchmaking might take forever and I don't believe there's much if any support still for it. The BIG thing is crucible... I don't know this for sure, but I imagine there are no casuals left in D1, meaning the only people still playing crucible there are hard-core sweats who worked so long in that system they never wanted to leave. Just some thoughts. Destiny is a community based current game. But again if you want the campaign solo experience, give it a go!

You speak from experience or... Yeah, I'm on regularly and never have problems with low player pools. It's harder to get a run in the current seasonal public even than it is to get a raid together on D1

Oh I could be wrong- in fact, that's great if casuals are still playing D1. I just really didn't think you could still reasonably expect to have a similar experience to what it was when it was active. That's awesome if you still can experience that though

Only casuals are playing D1, lol. Walking around in the tower with fully ornamented raid armor will get you flooded with invites and messages from noobies

Oh wow. I honestly didn't expect that, but that's great news!

Played D1 pvp about two weeks ago. Still mostly handcannons. And ohk stickies.

I will say D1 pve left on a very, very high note
