not everyone will take the time or have the ability to do this and therefore it would have a positive outcome.

VPNs aren't a time or ability thing, it's just spending $20 on NordVPN

and that it time, effort etc. There is no reason not to institute these measures as it can't make the situation any worse and if some choose to take their cheating elsewhere, its a win. A VPN can be tracked, traced and in many cases your actual ip can be leaked. Stepping up the anti cheat game is all it takes for bungie to show they are making the effort.

Sadly, like most cancers.. there is no cure, only a way to treat the symptoms better or worse until you die.. Same thing goes here... Sooner death if they do nothing, prolonged inevitability if they do something..
