Buddy they already said they are sun setting weapons because they can’t keep updating and looking at every weapon.
You want them to play with weapon values every week?
If you ever seen office space, get those TPS reports to me um Kay.

I'm not saying have dev teams tweak weapon values such as bloom, time to kill, etc. every week, just program a weekly reset for the archetype and let it ride. The idea is to avoid weapon retirement, nerfing or buffing.

I’m sorry maybe I chose the wrong words. They already can’t keep “working” on every weapon/archetype. You want them to “work” on them weekly. It takes “work” what you are asking them to do. They already have stated they can’t “work” with the amount of weapons they have, hence weapon retirement.

What work? Copy pasting a 0 to 1 or a different word in an XML file and pushing it to a server is work? It can't possibly be harder today than it was ten years ago to drive content dynamically. Maybe I give Bungie too much credit.
