I highly doubt Siva will be the theme for next season
I understand that the leaks and amount of exotic ornaments are clearly implying a resurgence, but I highly doubt it'll be the driving force for season 11
Once again, as I have continued to say since shadowkeep, each season will continue the story or plotline of the first 3 DLCs of Destiny 2
Season of dawn continued the Saint-14 plotline from curse of Osiris
Season of the worthy continued the Rasputin plotline from warmind
So it's only logical that season 11 continues one of the many plotlines from forsaken such as the scorn Barons, Uldren Sov, the dreaming city curse etc.
Say what you will about the seasons in general, but you must admit that they do an excellent job of continuing the many storylines Destiny has accumulated. Even if we'd like more.... Grandiose ways of doing so
Tl:dr
Siva won't be the theme of next season
-
Now I'm going to make sure it's SIVA.
-
Ok but it will with this season correct? Im ganna say this there better be some sort of Siva related weapon wether its exotic or a reskin of d1 just make it happen i dont mind i dont mind what so ever

Edited by FlowerFox8040: 4/5/2020 5:14:47 PMHere's a scary thought: The satellites we've been launching into space to take care of the almighty are to at most redirect it, since those little things - even if they're nukes and there's hundreds of them - could never destroy the almighty. So what if the almighty was redirected to the very outskirts of Sol... the reef? And what if Rasputin's way of redirecting are repairing or building the engines... with Siva? Edit: forgot to say, the satellites are called ordinance satellites. Ordinance doesn't necessarily mean BOOM. That ordinance could be Siva.

Yeah. I think that this season will end with the vanguard regaining trust in Rasputin when they find out Felwinter was the one that turned SIVA against the iron lords. Would be a cool twist.
-
Next season will be Quaria
-
*sips coffee* Updated Blind Well in the Dreaming City with Mara Sov as the new vendor. Just watch.
-
I’d like to see the black armory get a revamp with new weapons. Ana Brey and Ada-1 making weapons together? Oh baby.
-
The theme will be, max grind with no reward.

Edited by Arius, the Soul King: 4/2/2020 3:42:19 AMWhat if it’s two seasons to a DLC? Like Season of the Undying, it was about the Vex, (note that Shadowkeep was about Hive, I’m talking about the actual SEASON) which was the main antagonists in Curse of Osiris, then, as you mentioned above, the Season of Dawn was about finding Saint-14, also in Curse of Osiris. This season is about helping Rasputin destroy The Almighty, like we helped him destroy Xol in Warmind. SIVA was hunted by the Iron Lords, and they tracked it to the Clovis Bray facility on Mars, specifically Site-6, where the Iron Lords and Rasputin had “fought”, previously. So, maybe Season 11 is about SIVA resurfacing, as the Clovis Bray facility is also affiliated with Rasputin, from Warmind. Maybe it’ll be a DLC, like Rise Of Iron. Or, maybe I’m wrong, and it’ll be about the Scorn. Idk, since I never played Destiny 1, I would like to fight against SIVA in a raid like Wrath of the Machine. Maybe the Darkness will play a role, maybe ressurecting Aksis, the Archon Priest? Just wishful thinking.

"Who do you think I am? Without me, you have only a dwindling army of ambivalent soldiers. I am the Young Wolf. I killed the Taken King. I defeated Ghaul, I roused the Traveler, I silenced the Moon, I stopped the invasion, I broke the curse, I broke the Houses, I killed the queen! I am the Shadow of Earth!"
-
The reason that they went to mercury and mars is because those dlcs were unsatisfying. Forsaken was much more successful and they don’t really need to retrek that ground. And making uldren nothing but a seasonal sidequest would be incredibly disappointing. Not only that, but the dreaming city is too important, and there is no natural way to connect Rasputin to the awoken.
-
i think next season will be wrapping up the curse on the DC and then exploring the Deep Stone Crypt, since cayde's message regarding it was directed to petra, and her hands are kinda full with the taken war persisting in the reef.
-
Very good points. Not to mention all of the seasons with the cabal and stuff are finally completing the original red war campaign which I’m very happy about cause I wanted that for a while I hope we get more stuff to do in the dreaming city cause that’s probably my favorite location in the game

Calus's list is coming true.
-
Mr man 306 n6
away - old
I agree, I think they'll maybe do uldren sov l, like from that cutscene were he lived. Then Siva will be in a larger expansion after next season, like a warmind or shadowkeep sized expansion -
I agree that it won’t be the theme of next season not because of the story continuity, but because Bungie sucks too much to import all those SIVA assets and implement them that fast. Content is hard, dont you know?
-
Of course they will keep the old stories and recycling them, anything to keep actually making new content such as creative stories and new enemy races/types lol minimum effort all the way amiright?
-
What if the Scorn find SIVA? I know it wouldn’t happen, but it would be cool.
-
uldren isnt going to be hunter vanguard.
-
...but people are literally ripping new siva related models and code from the game files. Nothing about uldren or the dreaming city as far as I know.
-
Yeah, my guess for season 11, is that we’ll go back to the tangled shore and dreaming city to finally break the curse, Uldren will return as the newest vendor, the season pass will have taken ornaments(I imagine), and it will lead into the next big dlc. I’m assuming we will then get a reprised dreadnought now controlled by Savathun. Maybe we’ll team up with the uldren.
-
Say what you will about the seasons in general, but you must admit that they do an excellent job of continuing the many storylines Destiny has accumulated.
That's because Bungie don't know how to end a story. Having 20 stories all continuing on forever is not good story telling.
-
That's because it's going to be about Cayde-7.
-
I think it is more going in the order of the vanguard, season of dawn wasnt directly related to ikora but she was the character that you went back to, like how we are going to ana and zavalla this season, I think next season will be about cayde possible bringing him back just as a exo due to his ghost being completely shaddered I highly dought we can bring it back like sagira
-
Hahahahahah! Excellent job, he says!
-
I think people would be happier if there were playable missions in which we see sweet cut scenes and fight along side the NPC’s. But no we get an opening cinematic, bounties, and daily mission to clear a bunker with a public event.
