Even streamers are complaining about the trials population lol
Top players complaining about trials population being low already is the funniest thing I've been seeing. Because now you all see that its not as popular as you all think. You wanted a sweet mode now you have you're exclusive club and us average players are not playing it anymore.
Now you're crucible playlist made for you is about to die off and you all said if we're not good enough go play something else. Guess what we have and we're no longer your cannon fodder for easy wins. Suck it up and deal with the fact we're not enjoying players stomping on us anymore every dam game.
If trials dies it all on you for the way you all rub it in our faces about going flawless 40+ times in one weekend and the 99% of the playerbase wont ever go once its a hope less situation for us.
Im ok with never going flawless and im ok with your playlist going away because it's all toxic anyways. No one wants to play the 1% of those god tear players and no one wants your influence on this game anyway.
What we want is fair matchmaking and enjoy the games we play not get stomped every time we step into a crucible match.
Trials needs to go away away and stay away or make it fare for everyone to play not just the streamers or elitist players. You all have made your bed without ever considering that maybe the casual player base is the reason this game mode was to stay alive. Now you all are crying that there are not enough casual players in the game mode. We'll were not coming back and nothing you do out side of making a flawless only que matchmaking for those that have already gone flawless that weekend will bring us back.
Hope you all enjoy trials now because it wont last if us casual player stay gone and the population stays so low its not worth bungies time to invest in that mode any more.

Hm.. they're not upset that the numbers are dwindiling down on casual players, they're upset that they keep encountering cheaters and getting beavered. On top of that the streamers I've watched agree that the casual player should have incentive to play trials via: make the rewards benefit all players, get adept weapons at flawless. Make it so everyone can benefit and not just the most hardcore players. What streamers are you watching that say the game shouldn't be for casual players too? Kackis, Aztec, mtashed, are the ones I've seen that would like it to be for everyone. I haven't watched others. But I'm sure most streamers/YouTubers are for the general public.

You have the whole game, pvp gets the one thing back we’ve been asking for and you -blam!- because it’s not designed to give everyone a participation trophy. Bad self entitled kids everywhere.

Edited by Hellekeen: 4/1/2020 12:43:55 PMIf you have an elite event, don’t expect casuals to populate the list There are some things bungie can do (but won’t) to get cannonfodder into that playlist. 1.) have bots : completely bonkers and has no place in a competitive environment 2.) have matchmaking for casuals : bungies policy is to bring friends if you want to play and that Paradigma did not change although the big clan times are long over .. A separate „cannonfodder Access lane - prepare to die a lot“ would solve some of the population issues but not completely due to the next point 3.) stop „gating“ loot .. 3 consecutive wins are an eternity away for most players which poses as an obstacle they can’t overcome to start getting loot .. the bounty system in trials D1 was way superior to the win 3 or get nothing System that’s in trials or iron banner with that horrible quest .. they should immediately remove that barrier so that people can turn in tokens from match 1 and not have to hop through arbitrary obstacles before they can get some loot . In the end bungie tries to square a circle here .. have a super hardcore Elite Event while the casuals should line up to get blasted .. so either the casual door is made bigger or the elite guy should simply stop complaining that they are alone .. People have warned the „gid gudders“ that they will play with themselves if the tournament doesn’t have something for the low tier ranks..

Gotta agree there. But trials isn’t the cause of D2 dying, just a symptom of why its dying. Don’t get me wrong, its toxic as hell and wouldn’t touch it with a pole. For years Bungie have jumped to PvP’ers tune every time there was a slight weapon imbalance caused by new pve content. Recently they have taken the candycrush route of death by micro-transaction. To avoid having to produce new content( its hard you know - bless) they have just recycled/reskinned old content and trundled it out as seasonal content. Death by bounty. But the final blow came from streamers. People who want to make money by playing destiny. Its free advertising so bungie are all for it. But when the influence the game to the extent that they do it results in the mess we now have. Before the flames lick my shins - yup, already stopped playing and not coming back. And I am on the forums because I still think Destiny was the best game ever and live in hope that it will turn a corner.

1 ReplyF ToO, it has always been a suck on this game. They took it away for how long? They know how folks react to this sweaty SWAMP of a mode and yet, we received the same thing as before... why exactly did they take it down in the first place? To add some stupid emote... thing? There are drastically fewer sweats than normal players, why not make it more inviting for the masses? Or, change the F’n mode?! Freelance, once you go flawless you’re done for that weekend, reduce the amount wins required... something, but this yard sale will always be a suck on the game if not changed. I’m not a terrible PvPr and could probably succeed in ToO if I spent hours upon hours on it, but that’s just it, this game is NOT at that level to demand that kind of time anymore.... have not played ToO once and never will until it changes, until then I’m content with the sweaty neck beard basement dwellers being distracted for the weekends to come, enjoy!

Let PvP players have their mode, it’s just one mode and the gear isn’t even that good. Pve players get all the love and the one time pvp gets something in like 2 freakin years everyone who can’t win wants it gone. Don’t get me wrong, I’m also upset because bungies whole thing was “oh we’re not gonna bring it back half baked we’re gonna do this right” BULLS***!!!! The loot system is so thoughtless that it’s better to just farm easy wins then to try to go repeatedly flawless. That’s why the mode and matchmaking isn’t working properly. I can’t get past 4 wins but that’s almost better because I can target farm the shotgun more effectively with limited items in my loot pool.

Just imagining that moment at Bungie when they realise that even their little pets have turned on them. The looks on their faces. Delicious. Its clear they are not capable of supporting their own franchise without Activision and their studios holding their hand. The last two seasons have been dull repetitive content that has been full of bugs and now they cant even bring back a mode they had before without it turning into a dumpster fire.

8 RepliesTrials never had a place for someone with low pvp stats like me. I still don’t have not forgotten, and honestly, if you can’t get that, you shouldn’t play it to begin with. Can’t tell you how many times I received a hateful message on Xbox telling me I’m bad. If I played trials, I would hear it the entire time I’m playing. Trials is not meant for people like me and I know that. No point in trying flawless if you really don’t have the skill for it.
