She hasn’t.
Take a look at the last page of Unveiling for instance.
Eris considers the Darkness to be wholly evil. She considers that even if the world was balanced between Light and Dark that the world must fight the Dark, for if it is unchecked it shall only thrive.
She also despises the Dredgens despite her own dabbling with Hive magic.
Eris seeks to eradicate the Hive from existence and has now also come into contact with the God her foe serves. That smile Eris lets off in the cutscene tells me that this one lone Pyramid may be underestimating her abilities as a Lightless and thusly we may actually be able to use her research against the Pyramid Fleet when it arrives.

<It'd be hilarious if I was right about the Darkness not giving a -blam!- about the Hive and the statue just told her how to beat Savathun.>
-
Because they scarred of Savathun.
-
Well considering I’ve pointed out how the Hive can never achieve their goal I would find that quite fitting.

True, but consider being taken. Your desires are teken, replaced, then fulfilled. "When you are taken, you stand before the Darkness. It doesn't kill you, it remakes you." I don't remember exactly where that it, but I remember that's when we fought Oryx; the question asked was what is it like to be Taken?
-
What does that have to do with Eris at the moment...?
-
If that glow was a modified version of "taken" then it would be VERY hard to detect. Especially since we have no comparison for Eris.
-
There’s no reason at all to believe that’s the case at this point in time.
