About the reporting topic

Last Tuesday I played Iron Banner and matched someone with a really nice flawless emblem, paid ornaments and a good light level.. I was casually doing the Pinnacle bounties until, in the beautiful Russian Vostok, the guy started spraying me with the Ace of Spades. At first I didn't really notice, but after my death, he started spraying my teammate too! After saving the clip and rewatching it only once, I immediately knew he was cheating. Now my question is... Why Bungie, are we, YOUR community, not allowed to report people on your community forums to make your game better... I have a Steam account link, a Bungie.net account link AND video proof of this guy cheating, but I am not allowed to. What is the reason behind this, besides the excuse of name and account shaming. What is shaming about reporting someone that is literally destroying your game by cheating? I sincerely dislike the way this is done. Please, for the love of god, change this.

 • You are allowed to report people on the forums if they have a forum account You can report then through destiny And you can report them through steam/ps/xbox live. They don't allow naming and shaming because
You can't name and shame because mob mentality is dangerous. Ex: If your internet is acting up and you're lagging Then joe decides you must be lag switching as he's throuroughly pissed he lost his 9 match in trials, he posts your gamer tag on the forums Bob sees it, and bobs a little mentally unstable. So he looks up your info, and gets you swatted because he's bringing justice to a cheater. It's all fun and games till someone gets shot in real life. You guys(not you in particular) can't handle that level of "power" for lack of a better term
That also doesn't include people just ganging up on others just to be assholes, which we know for a fact happens. (see people getting booted after the final raid encounter)
