The gust of wind that blows out the candle. Shûb broke free from his torture. Unstoppable? No. Unfinished. He killed those Wizards, and whatever else was unlucky enough to be in his way. He was supposed to hate the light. But he hated the torturers, not the the thing they tortured him with. He doesn’t know what to think of the light. He also doesn’t know how to think. He wasn’t made to think. But this would explain why Shûb has never attacked a guardian.
