Trials gatekeeping is scummy as all hell, and the streamers and youtubers defending it and encouraging it are so out of touch with the game they might as well not be playing the same one as us

I've seen several YouTubers say that the token farming contradicts and destroys the identity of Trials. I'm sure there are plenty out there saying it's fine though. Those people don't understand that casual players are the lifeblood of every non-esports game on the planet.

Watch cammy’s video on it, he gave a 10 min explanation on how to best farm casual players at 3 wins and then proceeded say it was bungie and casual player’s faults that him and the rest of the PvP 1% were doing it.

Well, it isn't the casual player's fault. It is Bungie's though.

It’s bungie’s for designing the loot system to encourage pub stomping, and hardcore player’s faults for doing it

Can't hate the palyers man. Hate the game. Every system in the world in any video game that can be exploited for personal gain has been, and will continue to be. Is it scummy? Absolutely. But is there a better option for getting tokens? Is there an alternative that gives [i]similar[/i] benefits? No and no. I can't say I blame them.
