This is actually not true. I main snipe every game and went flawless at 988.... You have to play distanced... we beat a 19 times flawless team and a 29 times flawless team playing conservative. I agree though, shotguns and fusion rifles are crutch weapons. Keep your distance and make sure flank is covered. Get picks and dont charge in to shotgun distance. Mix up where you go and use angles. I know it can be tough but its called trials for a reason not supposed to be easy!

Obviously if you can play off orb feel free but you gotta limit positions where a shotgun can slide 1 tap you... revive snipe and just straight body shots with auto rifle/ nades will kill revive so just play angles and keep eyes on orb and flank.... assign a guy on body and the guy reviving... pay attention to flank and don't get to zoned in. Good players play off of dead orb really well cause they know your going to be aggressive. Good teams are always moving when action is happening, Anticipate. I will say this is alot easier if your an elite sniper... Good team play beats carries all day. Once you get carry down you gotta play aggressive. When carry is up play conservative and get picks. Watch how players come around corners or if guys like to crouch and learn from it. Idk my mindset is if your getting beat mix it up. If you go to the same side or same spot everytime and your not elite gun skill your going to get beat... alot especially in trials. I'm not even that good, play smart and try not to get to frustrated
