I join a fireteam via the App on iOS, i wait, i get 0 invites at all the only solution I've had fixing this issue is restarting my ps4 and I'm not doing that every time because it's a ball ache. Yes my privacy settings are set up correctly too receive invites from anyone so why is it happening?.
