Encountered the same issue as well on Chrome, but I eventually got it to work by doing the following:
Within twitch settings, go to 'Connections', disconnect 'Destiny 2 Official Extension' and 'Destiny Companion'.
Log out of twitch.
Within bungie.net account settings, go to 'Accounts and Linking' and unlink Twitch (I also unlinked playstation as well, because I am on steam now, not sure if this step is needed).
Log out of bungie.net.
Log in back to twitch and reconfigure the extension again.
Hope this helps.

That's exactly what I did. I tried it twice before, and now one more time after catching your post. It still crashes the extension with a CORS error when selecting the platform on the viewer bounties tab. I'm getting the same error on chrome and firefox.
