Just then Karov came running towards them. “Guys, guys, Akûn is very powerful.” Karov told the group. “Well if that’s the case then let’s disable the weapon and leave, agreed?” Kirk replied Everyone firmly agreed on that plan of action. They decided to split up as that was the best course of action. ”Karov, you go with Maelstrom to find one of the weapon generators, me and Kryn will find the other one.” Kirk replied. Karov then ran off with Maelstrom, they talked about Akûn, Karov mentioned his old friends who had came back from the dead. Maelstrom asked about Akûn’s power level and Karov did not bother to reply. Karov knew that there would be one way to find the generator, splitting up. Maelstrom was also aware of this, they both went down a separate path, one on the left, the other on the right. Maelstrom found one of the generators, he destroyed it with ease. The blinding light of the explosion had caused Maelstrom to keel over on the ground. Akûn stepped towards him, he touched Maelstrom’s forehead and Maelstrom began screaming in pain. ———————————————————————————————————— “Make it stop, Make it stop!” Maelstrom pleaded. Akûn did not even bother to comply, all he wanted to do was mess with Maelstrom’s mental state. That would surely evoke fear into that little pest. Karov came running into the room, having heard Maelstrom’s desperate pleas for salvation. Akûn was nowhere to be found, Karov could have sworn that he was there when he had entered the room. Karov ran over to Maelstrom and lifted him off the floor. He carried him to the meeting point where Kirk and Kryn should be. They ran down the hall, Kirk saw that Maelstrom was lying on the floor with Karov right beside him. “What the hell happened to Maelstrom?” Kirk asked. “Akûn, psychological torment, his mind is very much fractured at this point, he’s in immense pain.” Karov replied. “So, essentially he’s having a Stroke.” Kirk replied. Maelstrom then started to speak, first it was in hushed whispers, then it grew louder. “What’s he even saying?” Kirk said. “He’s saying something about Akûn having another version of the Eviscerator, and his actual Throne World, though I cant decipher the name of it at the moment.” Karov replied. “Uh, guys we have to go, like right now!” Kryn told the group. “Already on it.” Kirk replied. The four of them ran through the hallways towards the docking bay. ———————————————————————————————————— “There’s Darek and Kana!” Kirk said, pointing towards the green ship. Kirk and Kryn then went after the two of them leaving Karov and Maelstrom alone. Just then they heard a rumble throughout the ship, almost as if a bomb had gone off. By the time the group had time to even look back at Darek, their ship was gone, and the two were running towards a Hive Tombship. Kirk was confused, there were no ships left that they could use, then a ship arrived in the hangar. “What in the name of the Traveler are you waiting for come on!” A Fallen Vandal said, motioning for them to follow. “Paradox? Is that you?” Maelstrom asked. “Just come in already, Paradox, Nevis, and Alak can’t keep them distracted for long!” The Vandal replied. The two of them followed without hesitation. “I’m sorry for not introducing myself sooner, my name is Rulis, and this here is my ghost Delta.” Rulis replied. “Haven’t I met you before?” Maelstrom asked, his speech was returning to normal. “No, I think your remembering someone else, your mind’s a little foggy.” Rulis replied. “Now let’s get you back to the ground now shall we?” Rulis told the group. ————————————————————————————————————
