I agree... folks will say unwittingly, “find a team”... but that takes time and time is one thing “responsible” adults do not have a lot of, especially to devote to manipulating pixels on a tv screen. I love this game, or loved it more like it, it’s starting to feel like a chore anymore.
For the nerds who say, “go play other games, you don’t have to play D2”... uh, did you read the above? Time, I in no way want to invest in finding another game, learning it... no thanks. Been here six years, this game was suppose to be better than this yard sale we have now.
For the kids who think they know what their talking about, I was playing Halo on the first Xbox before you were even a twinkle in your daddy’s eye... Google it junior. Lmao.

I disagree. joining a clan is beyond simple. there are tons of active clans with many players you can play with. for the elephant in the room, there seems to be many players who pretend they don't have time, why don't you join together? making excuses never gets you time nor accomplishment, find one of the many better ways. your second paragraph describes a stubbornness, not a lack of time. the same stubbornness that holds "solo" players back, and prevents you from finding a game that could actually suit your playing needs. a total unwillingness to adapt. get over it and move forward be it here or a new game, you'll thank yourself for it. before you spout some dumb ass kid shit, my children are likely older than you going by your touted played Halo line. stop being ignorant and take responsibility for you holding you back.

A few simple changes to this game would make it a lot better. Match making for all game modes, and the in chat feature set to the default chat feature.

matchmaking for all modes isn't going to improve anything, that topic has been debated a to death. too many people who have no knowledge of the game, no desire to learn, and only are a deadweight around the necks of those matched with will cause more upheaval than no matchmaking. it would also in turn cause the already low difficulty of the game to become playable with both eyes closed. but yes there is lots of room for improvement, as far as players go they should put in some effort to do what they claim they want to do, as no matchmaking doesn't stop all of the people who do those activities every week.

LOL. No, you’re right lack of mm doesn’t stop the people who run Raids from running Raids. Excellent point. It’s just the primary reason why people who don’t run Raids don’t run Raids. If Bungie wants people to run Raids in larger numbers that has to be addressed.

perhaps you misread. for those who do it every week matchmaking never once stopped them. a person who is stopped by no matchmaking never wanted to do it in the first place or they would put in a small amount of effort to do so.

So I have to deal or search for a clan that doesn’t have elitist in there that bully you for not wasting every second in the game, or demand you to download another app to play a game I purchased and shouldn’t have to run around everywhere else in the world to get through an activity. New light players have the leviathan raid they need to complete and guess how many “must know what your doing” or even personally I made an alt account to help a friend and when I joined a raid (only one available after searching and posting for hours) I was belittled and talked to like I’ve never seen the inside of the underbelly and anytime we did something there was always 2-3 people talking down to us like they were hired by Bungie to clean up after us. This game is toxic to the core and it’s due to people that enjoy kicking down others that are struggling and coming to these forums to voice our discouraged gameplay and to ask for help from Bungie or Admins of Bungie to make this world less Elitest and maybe more friendlier to the newer players. What sucks is that there’s no enjoyment in this game unless you’re shit stomping the poor person that just installed this game and doesn’t know how to throw Grenades with their overpowered Hard Light/Pinnacle Weapons

if there's no enjoyment for you move on as a person with common sense would. if you aren't willing to invest a small amount of time to improve your situation, that's all you. seeing a KWTD post and you don't KWTD means that post isn't for you, make your own or find a different group. the game isn't toxic, it's the unbudgeable attitudes of people who think the game should cater to their lack of effort that is toxic. there are tons of helpful players, tons of people who claim they want help but refuse to take steps to gain it. there is more than enough outlet of like minded players to find people to play a multiplayer game with. your choice to hinder yourself and complain about the game when you could have a better experience.

I’m just going to be nice about it and say “thank but you’re wrong” before I’m banned for dealing with the people like you. You also probably believe Bungie is doing amazing and that players are just innocent people that do nothing wrong. But in a real world, there’s problems that need fixing and there’s people that fix that. The toxicity comes from people like you that look down on people that don’t have social skills so they turn to games. This is a new game to them and maybe it’s difficult for them to come out their shell, but being screamed and belittled isn’t healthy nor is the elitist mentality that you have.
