People that prefer D2 Y1 are just salty that they suck at pvp and they are willing to make pve shit again just so they dont get smashed 24/7 in pvp.
Neutered weapon slot system, slow ability regen and slow movement speed almost killed destiny. Many players never got D2 and many quit before hitting lv 20 (~40%).
The good thing is that destiny can never be that bad again so no matter what happens next, it still wont be as bad as Y1.

Question for you, and this is a theoretical/hypothetical: If Destiny 1 was released the same as D2 Y1 was, what would your reaction to the game be, being ignorant of any of the things players were used to going from D1 to D2. Would you still play? Would you still have a passion for the game? Would you still buy the sequel? Is the drastic change in gameplay what jarred players in D2 initially, having been used to D1 for 3 years? Interested to hear your thoughts.

I wouldnt have liked pvp therefore i wouldnt spend much time playing pve which means i would have just beat the campaign then quit if i even bought it to begin with.
