I’d like to know how he’s not dead
-
Spoilers:
He is. It’s his death that made a big impact in the story. He spoke out against heroes’ abuses of their power and influence. People sympathized with him and some began to turn in heroes. The final retirement of AllMight has resulted in new villains to emerge from the shadowy woodworks, and hold Stain as a “people’s hero.”
Unless I missed something, he's not dead. His wounds were treated and he got locked up in Tartarus. I believe they even mention All Might having his meeting with the hero killer delayed in a recent chapter.

My three reactions: 1. You’re mistaking Stain for All for One 2. You’re referring to the manga (which I don’t read but I do want to) 3. They mention this in a future episode which I haven’t watched
-
There was a manga panel the anime omitted where Stain was watching All for One being wheeled past his cell.
-
Huh, wonder why they did that.
-
Dunno. Would definitely get into reading the manga if I were you though. Shit is gonna go down real soon.

I mean, how he didn’t die to getting punched then burned, that looked like it should’ve killed him
