In addition you found out the team at Bungie was able to detect it, and then learned that, yes, they stand behind their zero tolerance policy toward injecting code into the game. Take this as a lesson learned: If something is important to you, you should more carefully consider the consequences of your actions (especially when such consequences are fairly well known).
