(Back when you saved Mirabelle from falling) Mirabelle looks up at you, tears from her yellow eyes streaming down her blue-scaled face. “You saved me?” She asked with genuine surprise in her voice.
-
“Of course, we are partners after all.” The Descendant smiles again. “Plus according to this thing’s rules I’d have died too. Not something I’d ever want to do again.”
-
Sge wipes the tears from her eyes. “Yeah.. Yeah, that makes sense..” She says, quietly, pulling herself to her feet.

Edited by FastmanLeFast: 2/15/2020 9:12:20 PM“See if you can be more careful next time, I may not be able to help you in the future.” The Descendant continues his descent. (Definitely didn’t spend half an hour trying to fit into a hole that turned out to be a trap btw no no)
-
Mirabelle watched him as he walked away, but didn’t follow. She didn’t want to fall again, and she was afraid of what would happen nowthat she didn’t have her hood.
-
Yes.
Edited by FastmanLeFast: 2/15/2020 6:51:34 PMThe Descendant looks around for both his partner, and an exit. (Edit: Ok so I didn’t fully read the post and notice the very obvious exit so ima look for a safe way down) “I pray I’m not too late to the party.”
-
I forgot who your partner was, but they would be here
*You can either go back the way you came, or take the Descent below. It's deep, very deep, but has outcroppings and other ledges on the way down.*
-
Me!
-
it was Aifos’ character, whoever she was.
“I don’t think I can warp that far down... I suppose it’s time for a little exercise.” The Descendant walks over to the nearest ledge with the intention of descending. (Heh)
-
Oh she's here, just started climbing down.
*You estimate 3 miles down, and see 2 outcroppings and possible shadows of more further down.*
-
The Descendant conjures his spectral sword, embeds it in the wall, and uses it to ‘safely’ slide down the wall to an outcropping further below.
-
*You almost slip as the wall reacts to you cutting it, but you quickly descend. Roughly halfway to the first outcropping.*
-
“Hmph, I wonder how my partner is faring...” The Descendant stops for a moment to recover his grip, and look around for his partner.
-
*Mirabelle is scared, but not far from you. She's going down her rope to the first outcropping.*
-
had a thought, how much health would you think I would have?
“She’ll be fine.” The Descendant continues sliding down with his sword.
-
I honestly don't know. You are almost on equal footing with Azru, so 100+ hp, maybe 200+. She's built like a tank though and has a lot.
*Right as you say this, Mirabelle slips as she drops to the outcropping, potentially falling the whole way to the bottom*
-
shall we just say 200 max hp then?
“She’s not fine.” The Descendant extends a hand to slow her in time, before looking around for the next outcropping to plan his move.
-
I think that should work fine.
*Mirabelle slows, giving others a better chance of saving her. The next outcropping is roughly 75 feet below the first, and 30 feet to the right*
-
“All or nothing.” The Descendant warps to catch Mirabelle, unslowing her in the process.
-
*You catch her, and safely descend onto the outcropping. The floor here is also alive, and seems to be shifting and retreating into the wall.*
-
“Hey! Do your job and support me floor!” The Descendant slows the floor in time to give himself and Mirabelle breathing room.
-
*The floor tries to resist, but slows down.*
-
The Descendant sets Mirabelle down before looking downwards to check his progress. “See if you can be more cautious next time.”
-
Aifos just went offline. I think I'll have some of Six's nanites stay there to hold her safely before it disappears.
*Blaze has reached the second outcropping, saving himself with his rapier. Darkness and the faint light remain at the bottom.*
