Nice work Firefly and sound advice for others.
I think more than anything you just have to use what you are comfortable with and be prepared to adapt when things aren't working (as you've said). Taking breaks worked wonders for me even when I'd set aside time to play as there's no point getting tilted and hitting long loosing streaks.
It felt good getting Not Forgotten and Mida's Catalyst entirely solo in Freelance but I have to say I don't use NF ever just one season later and although I love Mida (and always have) the catalyst makes an almost inconsequential difference. Did give me a reason to stick with it across playlists though whilst finishing the precision requirements, so I've probably improved.
Glad you got what you were after, congrats and cheers for sharing.

Thanks man. I mostly just wanted to give hope to everyone. So many people just give it up as a lost dream. These forums have so much negativity, just wanted something good

Totally agree on all counts there. I wrote it off as impossible previously but after a rocky start I found I'd made a tonne of progress in just a few play sessions working on Randy, so just thought I'd see how far I could go. At Mythic 2 I realised it was doable and went for it. If I can do it with my delayed reaction times and a drifting analogue stick, anyone can and the more people that realise it the better as freelance is a much less toxic environment to give it a shot.

Definitely dude lol. I was playing with a sticky cany-covered Controler and 1 or 2 kids on the couch climbing on me. If I can do it with my potato internet (generally less than 1 mgb per sec) anybody can do it.

Haha, you win. Now it's an even better example!
