The Emperor had been asked many times if selling the objects from the Anomaly Vault was the right thing to do. The Emperor thought that selling the objects, even if they wind up in the wrong hands, was better than keeping them all in one spot. If the Krall managed to break into the vault then they would have thousands of dangerous artifacts at their disposal, so getting rid of as many objects as they could was the best thing they could do. Of course the Bubbies could use the objects to benefit themselves or they could just destroy them, but they fear that it would be harder for them to make friends if they did so. The Bubbies are on the verge of a massive war, one that might force them to commence a total annihilation of the Krall species. Bubbies have been threatened with extinction before and the only way to prevent it was to end the enemy first. They hoped that the 5th time would be their last. They hoped that they wouldn’t have to do this anymore. There are 5 entire species that have been wiped off the face of the universe because of their own desire to bring that fate to others. /3 days after Billy’s first encounter with Haxax/ Billy had been looking all around for Hahax and he knew he couldn’t be far. Haxax came to OffTopic because he was looking for Billy and he didn’t seem like the type who would just give up after he had gone so far. Billy ran all around the city of OffTopic looking for Haxax and once he decided that Haxax wasn’t there, he looked beyond the borders of the city. Flying his ship through dense forests, foggy swamps, and desolate deserts he tried looking for any sign of the Krall who bested him a few days earlier. Billy had contacted the Anomaly Archivists about the speed sheet that Haxax was wearing but they quintuple checked and told him that every object was accounted for. This confused Billy because even though there are multiples of the same type of object within the Vault... The speed sheet shouldn’t be one of them. After a few minutes of deep thought it suddenly dawned on Billy that the Krall most likely have some form of technology that allows them to clone anomalies. If this is true than that meant Billy had to pick up the pace, find Haxax, and end him. The mountains seemed like a place that Billy’s target could be hiding. Billy had been flying all around a vast mountain range for about 7 hours trying to get any kind of signal from Haxax’s ship. The clouds were low and they didn’t make it any easier for Billy because he was also trying to rely on sight to hopefully find the ship. Billy made a risky move and dove below the clouds and fog which put him uncomfortably close to the mountains. Luckily for Billy after a few minutes sneaking through the mountains, he saw a plume of smoke which was undoubtedly coming from Haxax’s ship. Billy flew down into the ravine between the mountains and landed right next to Haxax’s ship. Haxax walked out from behind some trees to greet Billy once again, geared up in his silver and black armor. Billy was also prepared for a fight in his bulky, golden suit of armor. Haxax: Took you long enough, germ. Billy: your ship looks like it has seen better days. Haxax: You aren’t going to see better days after I’m done with you. Billy notices a device resembling a stone tablet in Haxax’s hand. It is something that Billy hasn’t seen before. Billy: What’s that thing you’re holding? Haxax: That’s not important. What is important is you leading me back to the Anomaly Vault. I know your ship has a portal that leads directly to it. Billy: Why didn’t you just force me to take you to my ship after you beat me up a few days ago? Haxax: I wasn’t sure if you had backup with you, so I didn’t want to stick around. I was going to come back another day and try to steal some objects that you’ve sold. Billy: You aren’t going to get to steal those objects because I’m going to kill you. Haxax: Tough talk coming from the one who couldn’t keep up last time. Haxax summoned a silver and black sword with a glowing red edge and Billy summoned a golden double bladed axe with a glowing blue edge. The energy within their weapons hummed as they stared each other down for a few seconds, and then they charged. Haxax made the first swing which Billy was too slow to dodge and he was sent flying backwards. Billy got back up and quickly deflected Haxax’s heavy sword slash. Billy swung his axe at Haxax’s legs and he dodged all but one hit. The swing of the axe penetrated Haxax’s armor causing him to stumble and fall over. Billy jumped on top of Haxax and lifted his axe up to deliver a finishing blow, but Haxax’s speed gave him an edge and he pulled his sword up to block the swing. Sparks from their weapons flew as one tried to overpower the other and their eyes were locked and unblinking. After about a minute of pushing back and forth, Haxax was able to push Billy off of him. Before Haxax was able to stand fully, Billy ripped the Speed Sheet off of him. Haxax reached for it but Billy jumped out of the way. Haxax: GIVE IT TO ME!!! Billy: You had your fun and now it’s time to say goodbye! Billy pulls out a knife from his suit and cuts the Speed Sheet in half. It leaves his hands, disintegrating into nothing. Haxax: GAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! Haxax charges at Billy at an impressive speed even without the Speed Sheet, but his blade is met with Billy’s and they get locked in another tussle of pushing back and forth. Billy is much shorter than Haxax so he was being pushed down for about 30 seconds before he was able to break free. Haxax started to swing his sword back down right into Billy’s head but Billy used his shield to successfully block it. Billy swung his axe upwards and it collided with Haxax’s sword, sending it flying out of his hands and into the grass behind him. Haxax runs at Billy once more in an attempt to grab him but is met with another swift uppercut from Billy’s axe. The blade hit the part of Haxax’s helmet where his lower jaw was and it knocked his head back, shattering his helmet. He was launched back 10 feet before hitting the ground. Billy ran over to Haxax who was crawling over to his sword and delivered a swift final blow into his back..... It was over. Haxax was over. Billy walked over to the strange tablet and took it to his ship. A few hours later, Billy was back on the outskirts of OffTopic in his ship. The Emperor had just congratulated Billy for a job well done. Billy told the Emperor that the strange tablet was what Haxax had used to duplicate the Speed Sheet. Emperor Valgus: The tablet can duplicate other Anomalies!? This would’ve been very bad for us if Haxax had gotten his hands on any truly dangerous objects. Bring it to the Anomaly Vault so it can be studied and destroyed. Billy: are you sure you want to destroy it? For all we know it’s one of a kind. Emperor Valgus: Yes it could be one of a kind..... But I don’t want there to be a risk of our more dangerous objects becoming MORE than one of a kind.
