They're not dealing woth an individual customer. They're dealing with they're entire customer base asking the same question. So it scales.

Yeah but game development doesn't work that way. You don't just say "oh yeah sure we'll have it done soon" you got deadlines, budgets, current projects, game balance, vision. They can't just throw in everything the community asks for.

You don't think small companies run off budgets? A business is a business. When your entire source of income has been asking for something since the minute you "ran out" of it you bring it back. To make your customers happy. Which increases your budget. Which develops your "vision"
