Friendly reminder that The Last Word kills with three crits in .53s and four body shots in .8s.
Yet Bungie logic dictates Not Forgotten killing in .67s a problem.

But....tlw on console is inconsitent with bloom, leaving you wide open to other players while you shoot 8 bullets to get 4-5 landed shots half the time. Then magically it lands all 8 and takes 2 players out in 1 second other times.

On console, it had TLW beat in just about everything that mattered. What good is having a faster ttk when you can't get the required shots to do so? Sidearms probably killed just as fast. A 300 rpm sidearm will crit for 50+ damage, and firing 5 rounds per second. What about the burst and full auto ones? Now let's be real about one thing: I bet you don't come across it either, but I almost never get 3 taps with TLW, and I don't think I've played against anyone who can consistently get 3 taps with it. If you can, good for you. I can't and I've been using it since it came out.

Well, on console, TLW has a MUCH steeper skill gap than NF. So yeah. NF might he the easiest HC to use in the game along with Luna's.

A consistent 3 tap with TLW on console isn't easy at all. If it is for you, awesome. 99% of the community needs a significant amount of practice in order to do that, more so than any other primary. The skill gap on console is honestly fine. Bodyshot TTK might he tad too forgiving when compared to the three tap TTK, sure, but that's about as far as I could see anyone taking it. But it still needs to kill faster than NF/Luna's simply because of its limited range and insane recoil.

I'm specifically talking about good players who can consistently three tap with it. Even when they miss a crit and it lands as a body they just toss another body in and kill you before you can kill them unless you're using TLW yourself. It's just wrong. I really hate how forgiving that weapon is. It's not like 20m is that short of a distance either. Then there's PC..that gun should probably just be deleted from PC lol.

By that logic all guns are broken. A Skilled player can Make any good look good, you can’t balance around the top players ability with a weapon when the majority struggle with it.

The main angst from The Last Word comes from its body TTK so no, that's not just a PC thing. Anybody can successfully spam four body shots regardless of platform.

I’ve never heard that and no, body shots aren’t broken, anybody worth their weight can outshoot somebody going for only body shots...as they should

One has significant more range and accuracy than the other. As I said, anybody who can hold their own worthy will beat a last word any day of the week. Not only that, optimal ttk is rarely achieved, too many variables to consistently land all your shots, especially while spraying

Well the good players are at the higher end of the skill gap. If you can consistently hit three crits while ADS with TLW on console at the max rate of fire, they're really good players. Balancing can't cater to them, just as it can't cater to everyone else at the bottom. And the gun probably shouldn't be as forgiving as it is, but at the end of the day it needs to kill faster than NF.
