Gears 5 has all kinds of pride banners in it, so don't see the issue with implementing any in Destiny, class items would make pretty sweet universal ornaments

And it was a horrible idea there. The way they implemented them was piss poor. They have, quite literally, 15+ pride related flags, and only a handful of others. They even cost money. No one wants a Forza, Sea of Thieves, or Terminator flag in the game as some backdrop. Also, they serve NO PURPOSE in the game. I think they're only shown behind you IF you get MVP. So, what I'm saying is, gears is a horrible comparison.
