I think that with the traveler awake, it will speak to people whenever it wants, instead of just through a speaker. So one isn’t necessary. We aren’t the only ones to get visions of light. Around the time of forsaken. Though the ghost does mention the possibility in the scannable in the tower location of scannable in spoiler:
start going to the bazar where Ikora is, but before you go down where the staircase and the tree are, turn right. There is a little “dead end” hallway with a room on your right, near one of the windows is the scannable.
The traveler was asleep, we don’t know if that changes things or not.

<Traveler was still asleep when the Red War started and it still gave everyone visions of the Shard.>

Edited by Tilman G: 1/17/2020 12:50:48 PMBut I believe it was revealed that the speaker did get those visions, and the reason he said he spoke for it, was because the visions were up to interpretation. Also I was under the impression we were the only guardian to get the vision of the shard?

<Tyra and Ikora imply otherwise.>
-
From what I understood of Tyra was saying that she thought of going there, like a day dream, or how I dream of going to other planets. I’ve never had an actual dream of going there. And when did Ikora say that? because that entirely defeats the purpose of us being the only ones with light, because if we could just waltz in and regain our light i promise you Ikroa could have done that.

<Ikora went to the Shard and received nothing. This was described in the Y1 Solstice armor.>

But did she have a vision? I seem to remember its existence was known to others.
