Have you tried to clean the disc, using a lint free lens clearer type cloth
move from the center straight to the outside (in a straight line) NOT circle movement.
Destiny 1 discs should be cheap to get from a place that sells them , as used discs usually have a guarantee that they work or they replace it.
I still use my Xbox 360 (dvd) and Xbox 1 (bluray) Destiny 1 disc every week.

My old disc, I tried using my Skip Doctor on it, then cleaned the surface exactly like that(from center out to the edge in a straight line). There was absolutely no difference. I did purchase another game disc for $8CND and there was no difference. My console spun it and ceased spinning after a few seconds, then did that process another 2 or 3 times before quitting entirely. Nothing popped up on screen, no errors, nothing. I still have the Xbox 360 edition, but I want to play the Xbox one edition. The trial version, which is a downloadable demo, works just fine in comparison. I'll definitely be taking the other disc back to the people I got it from to see if they can replace it, preferably with a new disc or a digital download code.

Edited by SluggardCave771: 1/12/2020 1:26:07 AMdo you have a friend or someone near that has an xbox 1 you can try the disc on? just to rule out possible issue with your system and the disc. Or have them test the disc in the store.
