If this is for D2 it may be due to the base game being free to play and the game licence now being digital only.
Delete and reinstall from your systems store. Do not worry about save data as that is on Bungie servers.

I did delete and can't even get 2 copies of the game to even run. I did download the free trial to even attempt to play it.
