Suraya Hawthorne is a great role model for women in Destiny!

Strong, kind, funny, beautiful. In my opinion, she is one of the most powerful female NPCs in the game!

If you've read the actual lore behind most characters then yes, Suraya is moderately interesting. With that prefacing and OP's context I'd argue that there are actually a lot more powerful women NPCs in the game. Powerful as in both actual combat strength, strength of character, convictions and overall character building. Mara Sov especially, then Eris, Ada, Petra and Orin all come to mind. Ikora's there too. Sur Eido just because I like abusing wish ender's walls in pvp. When we're talking about characters who have in-game presentation and aren't limited to appearing only within the written lore. If we account all lore then it's a festival. For me Suraya's always been the odd one out. The little too much of a goofball to take seriously -sorta character without much actual weight behind her character building. Especially in-game. Her written lore fixes some of that but even then she pales in comparison to the rest.
